PubsAlcohol-free beer is coming to the pub tap
More than 200 million pints of low and no beer were poured in UK pubs last year, and a new study says draught alcohol-free does not cost pubs money.

British Beer & Pub Association figures show more than 200 million pints of low and no-alcohol beer sold in UK pubs and bars in a year. Nirvana Brewery now sends its alcohol-free Best Ale, IPA and lager out in 30-litre kegs, and its chief executive expects draught to keep growing.
Pub group RedCat calls draught alcohol-free beer a game-changer. Heineken 0.0 is its best seller, selling 25% to 30% more than the next option, and draught earns bigger margins than bottles.
Does it hurt pub takings?
University of York researchers tested three changes in three UK pubs, including putting alcohol-free beer on tap. More drinkers chose alcohol-free, especially when it was on draught, and drinks revenue did not fall. The study is published in Drug and Alcohol Review.
Guinness 0.0 has helped. Diageo says it grew by double digits last year and stayed the UK's biggest alcohol-free beer brand.

IMPOSSIBREW Enhanced Lager
Drinking at home? IMPOSSIBREW Enhanced Lager is the #1 alcohol-free beer on Trustpilot, and pours with a proper head straight from the can. As seen on Dragons' Den, with more than 4 million cans sold.
